Hey everyone, Dave here from PlusCode. If you’ve ever had a great business idea but weren’t sure where to start, I’ve got something special lined up for you. I’m teaming up with the Milan Area Chamber of Commerce to host a free, hands-on workshop called “Using AI to Start a Business in 2026.” It’s happening on January 27th at 6:00 PM at Hunter & Ellie’s in downtown Milan.
This class is designed for people who have an idea but need a plan—or for anyone who’s been dreaming about going out on their own. We’ll walk through the key steps of starting a business and show you how AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude can help you make progress faster.

This isn’t a lecture, it’s a conversation. Bring your laptop, follow along, and ask questions as we go. The goal is to leave with a few actionable ideas you can use immediately.
AI is no longer something “for big companies.” It’s accessible to everyone and it’s a powerful partner for small businesses. Whether you’re planning your first side hustle or looking to expand your current business, AI can help with research, planning, content creation, and organization. Once you learn how to use it effectively, it’s like having a digital assistant that’s always ready to help you move forward.
The event is free, but we do ask that you RSVP in the Facebook event so we can make sure there’s enough space for everyone. Come a little early, grab a coffee or tea, and settle in for an hour of practical learning and discussion with other local entrepreneurs.
