We all know AI is all the rage right now, but we don't really know where we are going to end up. Over the last 6 months, I have been researching AI tools and testing concepts and how it relates to my customers' websites.
Here are some patterns that I see emerging with regards to AI and websites:
Chatbots and Virtual Assistants:
This one is pretty easy. We have been seeing chatbots for a while. The difference is these chatbots are getting smart and can handle more complex tasks. For instance, a chatbot could book a meeting, handle simple tasks like paying my invoice, and answer common questions.
Better Meetings:
There is always a moment in our meetings when we will begin to move in a creative collaboration, where we have defined a problem and everyone is trying to come up with a solution. The conversation happening in this time is where the magic happens. We typically track what is being said in Trello. However, that takes 1 person away from creative thought to track the conversation. AI is rapidly becoming a fantastic tool that can track everything that is said and can be instructed to take action. Like, please create a trello card and assign it to me with the notes from our conversation on the search functionality.
Data Analysis and Insights:
AI can analyze vast amounts of data collected from website analytics, ads, social media, and customer interactions, providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations. We will be able to leverage these insights to optimize their marketing strategies, identify trends, predict customer behavior, and make data-driven decisions.
Content Generation:
We are actively implementing this on our customers' websites. AI can automate the process of generating content for small business websites. From creating blog posts and social media captions to product descriptions, AI-powered systems can assist in generating quality content quickly and efficiently.
Personalized Content:
Everyone wants a personalized experience, from a suit that fits perfectly to a chef that makes your burger exactly how you like it. Imagine searching for an electrician for a new construction, a website can customize all the content just for the services you are looking for and suggest services that relate to your initial inquiry. In the electrician example, you could offer buried underground power as an additional service. Less clutter, more clarity, exactly what you want.
AI will continue to revolutionize marketing for small businesses, offering personalized experiences, efficient automation, data-driven insights, and improved customer engagement. Embracing AI technology can help small businesses thrive in the digital landscape and stay ahead of the competition. As always we are here to help navigate these exciting times.
