Should We Start a Local AI Meetup in the Milan Area?

By PlusCode

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how fast AI is moving—and how many of us are trying to figure out where it fits into our work, our creativity, and our businesses. At PlusCode, we use AI to help our clients with everything from content creation to workflow automation. But here’s the thing: we’re just scratching the surface.

So I had an idea...
What if we started a local AI meetup here in the Milan area?

Something casual. Something welcoming. A space to learn, share, and experiment together.

What This Could Look Like

I’m envisioning a group that meets once a month—maybe at the Chamber, the Owl, or OG. We’d explore topics like:

  • How to use ChatGPT for business content

  • Building custom workflows and automations with tools like n8n or Zapier/Make

  • Exploring image generation with MidJourney or OpenAI 4o

  • AI for small business marketing and customer service

  • Show-and-tell nights where we demo what we’ve built or discovered

  • Brainstorming real-world use cases with other local professionals

  • And most importantly… making it fun and approachable

No experience required, just curiosity.

Who It’s For

This would be perfect for:

  • Small business owners looking to save time or improve their marketing

  • Creatives experimenting with new tools

  • Developers, tech enthusiasts, and tinkerers

  • Nonprofits or community organizations interested in doing more with less

  • Anyone who feels a little overwhelmed by AI and wants a place to talk it through

What’s Next?

Right now, I’m just testing the waters. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to hear from you.

Would you come to a local AI meetup?
What would you want to learn or talk about?

Shoot me a quick message, fill out my contact form, or add a comment to this post. If we get enough interest, I’ll get something on the calendar.

Let’s make exploring what AI can do for us easier and way more fun.

Hope to hear from you soon,
